NUCCA stands for National Upper Cervical Chiropractic Association. It’s a very gentle, safe, precise adjustment located behind the ear, that does not involve cracking, popping, or twisting of the spine. By realigning the top bone in the neck called the Atlas, or C1, physical and neurological ailments are addressed. Although the Atlas is the only bone gently realigned, this technique addresses the entire spine. Once the Atlas is put back into its correct position, it removes neurological stress off the brainstem and allows the patient to stand straight. Issues such as sciatica, knee, hip and low back pain, vertigo, fibromyalgia, ADHD, depression, post-concussive disorders, high blood pressure, carpel tunnel, migraines, bowel and digestive problems, etc. can be corrected.
